Oh my it is time for...Chocolate Whip Sugar Pies

Want a quick and easy cookie recipe that you can whip up in under 15 minutes?

I had 10 people review these cookies. The consensus was the perfect amount of chocolate and sweetness. The only difference you would need to make depending on your cookie taste would be how long to cook the sugar cookies. I like them soft, but not too crumbly. For these pies I wanted a melt in your mouth center and definitely not overdone.

So here it goes...

Chocolate Whip Sugar Pies

1 package of Pillsbury Sugar Cookies (Ready to Bake)
1 container of low fat whipped topping
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (preferably Dutch processed)
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Cook Pillsbury Sugar Cookies following the package directions. If you have an oven that has an interior that is dark colored - try and use a cookie sheet that is dark colored as well. It will help with the heat distribution. Only cook for 10 minutes. Then pull out of the oven immediately. They might not look fully cooked, but leave them on the sheet for 5 to 10 minutes to finish cooking out of the oven.

Combine cocoa powder and vanilla extract with low fat whipped topping (in container to save on dishes). Whip together.

Put about 1 tablespoon of whipped topping mixture in between two sugar cookies. Put in the fridge to hold together.

When ready to eat - serve at room temperature.

ENJOY!
