Roasted Bay Chicken

NEW RECIPE TIME!

What can be better than 10 minute prep time and 8 to 10 hours in the slow cooker. Honestly!
I don't know if I will ever buy a cooked chicken in the store again after last night. This chicken was so moist and it fell right off the bone. The juices and flavors are just amazing!

What I did was prepare it the night before...

1 - Whole Chicken, without the insides ( I paid 7.52 for 2 whole chickens at BJ's this week)
1 cup of water
2 tbsp of olive oil
1- onion (chopped)

garlic powder
Old Bay
Parsley
Onion Flakes
Salt and Pepper

Put 1 cup of water in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place whole chicken into the water.Place the onion throughout the sides of the slow cooker, surrounding the chicken. For the seasoning of the chicken....drizzle olive oil on top of chicken the put seasonings on to your liking. You can make several different kinds of seasoning - you don't have to stick to old bay.

Turn on the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

The result is...

ENJOY!

Tip: Feel free to cook potatoes and carrots with the onion as well for a one pot meal!
