Salty Peanut Butter and Nutella Cookies

Sometimes you are just craving something chewy, sweet and salty. Best part is they are gluten free :)

I used a recipe from one of my favorite bloggers - but I found it a little too sweet for my taste and I did a little adapting. Lauren's Latest is a great blog if you haven't checked it out.

Salty Peanut Butter and Nutella Cookies
1 Cup of Peanut Butter (crunchy or creamy)
3/4 Cup of brown sugar (dark or light)
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 egg

nutella
course sea salt

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients (except nutella and sea salt)using an electric mixer until just combined.
Scoop out 1 inch balls of dough using an ice cream scoop and put about 2 inches apart.

Baked for 11 minutes. You will notice them to get slightly flat and less shiny.

Let cool for 3 to 5 minutes on baking sheet. Using the end of a teaspoon make an indent in the center of each cookie and fill with a teaspoon or so of nutella. Sprinkle with a dash of course sea salt.

Serve!
